Natasha and Ryan Geddes= Mawidge (Princess Bride speak)

Natasha and Ryan, I have been waiting to shoot these guys for like six months.  And FINALLY, that day arrived.  I know, the photog being anxious about the wedding is totally obnoxious and nothing compared to the anticipation of the bride and groom, but seriously, I love to shoot weddings!  Love it oh so much.

And you can imagine my relief when it all came together just like buttah!  I met up with Natasha the morning of to get some shots of them getting ready.  It is my photography crack, I love the lead up to the big event.

Ryan kept looking in the mirror, repeatedly doing calisthenics, and smiling a lot.  He was too cute getting ready to make THE BIG decision in his life.  And I got to see it.

A few details from before the main event...I loved the rings and the shoes.  I am a true ring lover and shoe whore!

Ryan and Natasha made their entrance and wowed me with their calmness, their kindness, and their sweetness towards one another.  Hmmmm....it was a shmoopy moment indeed.

The fams were hilarious in their own respective ways.  I especially enjoyed Natahsa's brothers roughing up Ryan a little.

And this is one of my favorite shots of the day.  You cannot plan this, it just happens, peoples facial expressions unfolding before my very lens, speaking a thousand works beyond the print.

I have one thing to say about this day that made my shoot successful and fun, MY SISTER. Celeste, she is a God send and a life-saver. Not to mention a rockin' photographer and nerve charmer. I was admittedly nervous about getting it all right. I mean weddings are a handful of good times and guests not wanting to be photographed. You just can't please everyone and it's a fine line to walk. Not to mention, remembering all the shots you want and need to get. And you have to get them right the first time. There are no retakes! Celeste, from the bottom of my humble and nervous heart, THANK YOU so much.

Some shots from Celeste...

I love a good groomsmen shot...

Genius Right?

Natasha and Ryan, congrats on your awesome day.  Thank you for sharing it with me and for driving to the middle of nowhere to get some great shots!

The Geddes sign was just icing on the cake!
