Bodacious Brittany, Aurora High School Senior Photographer

This is Brittany.  

She is awesome.  

I met her several years ago when marriage brought her and my family a little closer together.  I didn't realize we were getting a grand prize out of that marriage.  Britt comes with a sister named Kylee and a brother named Nathan.  They are beloved to my family.  We think of them as our own and are so grateful to have this link.

She is not your average teen.  She is kind, she is funny, and she doesn't take herself too seriously.  Ever. 

  

 I could hang out with Brittany for hours and feel like a million bucks.  She is. that. great.

She is graceful and classy.

Our shoot was a little spontaneous.  We decided to go and find a painted wall on Colorado Blvd.  The lighting that evening was tricky with cloud cover.  I really wanted some warm sun for Britt, but instead we got so much more.  I asked her if she wouldn't mind standing on the median of a busy road and we could have the lights of the cars add to the photo?  She agreed and we lived to tell about it.  I especially liked the red-tail light highlight in this image.

We also wanted some grungy graffiti to contrast her feminine look.  We found this.  I love this image.

Day two did bring us sunshine and sassiness.  This is another of 100 of my faves of Britt.  She has the haircut I wish I could pull off.  But alas, she makes it look so brilliant and amazing.

And finally some negative space in the color red.  This picture makes me smile.  I asked for sun, I got sun.  But I think Britt made the pictures what they are, simply gorgeous.  Thank you for being my niece Brittany and my friend.  You make me laugh and feel good.  Thank you for being so good to my kids whom love you to pieces.  Thank you for letting me shoot you!  And please Britt, when you are done exploring the world after high school, don't forget us and how much we absolutely adore you.
