Kayla in style

As a photographer, one of the things I have to do is to get people to feel comfortable in front of the camera.  This isn't easily done sometimes.  I know for me personally, I hate having my picture taken.  There are only a few angels that really work with my face.  Otherwise my nose looks too big, my teeth are showing too much, etc...  But once in a while, I get someone who is at ease in front of the lens.

Meet Kayla...

The moment I met Kayla I knew she was going to be a great shoot.  She is gracious,

she is confident and has an air of direction in the future.  It's like she knows who she is and she knows where she is going.  I didn't know that until after I was married.

(this one is my favorite)

She is a pom at her high school, performing for a lens wasn't a big deal, it was a BLAST!

And as a fellow shoe whore, I was drooling over her shoes.

Her mother wanted her to have images made with a golden shirt.  Just like she did when she was in high school.  What a fun tradition.  Getting pictures taken in a similar color as your mother, I would love to see them side by side.

Sometimes, you just luck out as a photographer.  You get the people who make your job such a pleasure and a treat, it's not work, it's all play.

Thank you Miss Kayla.  I know you will do amazing things with your life.  You are just that way, stylish, confident, kind, and gorgeous!  Best of luck to you!
